Pokémon Fanart

Here is a series of pieces I've created as practice. All work was created in Illustrator with minor touch-ups done in Photoshop for the final render. The first is a render of the Pokémon Pidgey. I attempted to make it as close as possible to its original artwork from 1996.

A simple render of the original Pokédex used in the series. The Snorlax is a simplified version of artwork that, I believe, was first seen during the reveal of the Dream World.

A render of the box for Pokémon FireRed Version. This started out initially as a something just involving Charizard, but evolved pun intended into something much bigger. I wanted to challenge myself to get as close to the real thing.

The Pokemon card. Rendered entirely in illustrator and done as a challenge to myself to, again, see how close I was able to get it.
