Mobile Game – Daily Revenues Claim

We're a french team developing a fantasy game for rap music fans. The app is available on AppStore and Google Play Store.

The player embodies a rap music label manager and has to compose the best rap artists team to progress and generate as money as possible 🤑

The problematic

A few months ago, when our mobile game really started to get popular and get more and more players, we were receiving a specific negative feedback, almost on a daily basis :

"The game lacks of daily actions to perform. It was fun at the beggining, but now I'm bored!"

We started to think of several quests, daily actions and new mecanisms to implement in order to really hook the player, increase the retention and the number of daily interactions with the app. Most of them are still being developed as I right these words, but we recently launched "Revenues Claim"

The process & solution

From now on, instead of automatically collecting the in-game artists' benefits, the player has 2 days to go to the bank and claim his money 😱 If he doesn't... well, the label's artists will keep the money for themselves! This new mechanic comes with a push notification flow that helps creating a FOMO sensation and bring players to open the app to claim their revenues, and eventually perform more actions!
