Hi!

Today I would like to share with you my idea on how to use the new interactive iOS notifications within the e-scooter app.

Using the available apps for scooters (Lime, dott, TIER, Bolt etc.) I always missed the navigation function. Screens during the ride also left much to be desired, especially in terms of readability - such a screen should be simple enough for me to read it quickly while riding a scooter.

With accessibility in mind, I decided to design a notification system (which would be displayed on the locked screen while driving) instead of in-app screens.

Why?

You're much more likely to ride with your phone turned off. With my notification system, instead of unlocking the phone and opening a specific app, you have access to the most important information from the position of the locked screen.

Here are the 3 types of notifications that I designed for different use cases:

I bet on minimalism,

I knew that the user would be reading these notifications while riding a scooter or running, so they have to be as simple as possible but still to provide some important information.
