The task I was given was to create three different covers in three different styles for the book: typographic, photographic and illustration.
First one being the typographic one wasn't as complicated as the rest, all I did was create custom lettering and a background followed by some grain and texture.
Second comes the photography which was done by me. I used the technique called Light painting in order to create the outline of the jellyfish. Using a dark room, a laser and some patience, I managed to pull it off.
The third one was the illustration one, which took more time as I decided to animate it as it could potentially look more interesting when used in the penguin classics website.
