Collaboration in the Classroom

Stratalogica is a collaboration platform for the classroom. It is an interactive, multi-layered world that combines maps, globes, atlases, and worksheets to engage children in history and geography. The objective was to add new features to the iPad such as drawing, adding placements and creating custom presentations.

Although the objective was feature based, we ended up completely redefining the product’s look and rethought every interaction in the application. The result had sweeping effects. First, upon completion of the iPad App, we re-engineered the desktop version to bring it into the new digital brand. Second, we generated a lot of interest and were nominated for People’s Choice at SXSW.
