Lets BURN all the apps (and phone calls)

I had to call Comcast to cancel my cable internet yesterday, it took ten minutes once the customer service person picked up the phone, and despite my insistence that I didn't want any offers she was REQUIRED to read me several "deals" that would somehow earn my business back?! We're moving to a place that doesn't even have Comcast.

This whole ordeal reminded me of an excellent article on how UI may not be the answer to many of these common business problems. Lets focus on making better user experiences, whether that includes UI or not.
