Hydra Skateboard

This deck is from the 'Our Lives of Deckadence' exhibition in Durban at Gallery 415. The exhibition was (obviously) themed around skating culture with the theme of 'Wisdom through Wounds'.

My thinking naturally lead me to Greek mythology (I mean, really, what else could you think of?) and the Hydra which attains two heads for every one lost. Hence it literally gains wisdom through its wounds.
