Stell provides the infrastructure for managing engineering documentation from mission requirements to supplier inspection results. In a modern design that users love.

The Challenge

Stell’s navigation bars were a difficult task to hurdle due to their OEM / Supplier needs. A user that is signed into the OEM portal cannot access Supplier tabs, and vice versa. We thought of many ways to combat this issue, but landed on what we decided was the most efficient.

The Solution

At first glance, a user can quickly tell which portal they are signed into because of the colors they are met with (Green = OEM, Blue = Supplier). On top of the color cue, the portal a user is NOT signed into has greyed out tabs, as well as a prompt that pops up when hovering a greyed out tab. All 3 of these cues can be triggered almost immediately, ensuring the user saves time figuring out why they can’t access certain tabs in the navigation bar!
