Metropolitan Wind Symphony poster

For this work, I wanted to take a different approach on the subject of a wind symphony. Usually a symphony is "uppity" and formal, while this poster is the complete opposite. I wanted people to see the poster and think, "that looks interesting, I wonder what it is?". The melting type and harsh yellows and reds lend homage to 80s Italian horror film posters such as Suspiria, Phenomena, and Tenebre, all directed by Dario Argento. With this piece I wanted to create something both eye catching and solid to look at.
