Quiky Wash: Laundry Mobile App For City Folk

Quiky Wash was a random design I did for myself a few months ago & forgot about. Quiky Wash is a mobile app meant to help make wash day easier for city dwellers. A common issue I have and have come to find that others have living in NYC if you aren't one of the lucky few to have a washer & dryer included in your amenities you probably have to go to your local laundro-mat.

What's worse than going to do your laundry and it's packed? Or better yet you forgot to buy laundry detergent and you'd rather not have to travel an additional 15-20 mins just to grab a bottle. I thought about how could it be easier for new yorkers to do laundry as smoothly and easily as possible? In the world of smart phones and groundbreaking tech.. Another app obviously 🤷🏾‍♀️.

My user research mostly consisted of qualitative and white paper research sources for adults of all genders 18-35 years old, living in NYC. I made note of their struggles, annoyances, & pain points and designed the app with several solutions in mind. I also included in my research field study by observing local laundry goers.

I would love some feedback on the visuals and will more than likely be adjusting the designs over the course of the next few weeks.
