The main issue with the previous website was that it lacked overall structure, clarity, and positioning. It didn't help the business achieve any business goals. After conducting user research, I identified the primary target demographic groups as architecture and design firms looking for furniture suppliers. Our aim was to clearly communicate the high-quality work Drechsel does for clients by consolidating the business's history and the competitive advantages of its services. We accomplished this by highlighting social proof of previous projects and showcasing the brands carried.

The new website also needed to have clear lead captures, which were not previously done through the website, this was a big downfall as potential customers found it challenging to get in touch. In this industry, the target demographic group preferred to contact potential partners by phone rather than through email, for this reason, it was important to list the contact number in the primary navigation so it is easy to access no matter where the user was on their journey.
