When it comes to security settings, I would recommend including the following account settings:

Password: Users should be able to set a strong and unique password for their account. The system should also enforce password complexity rules and provide suggestions for creating strong passwords.

Two-factor authentication: Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides an extra layer of security to an account. Users should be able to enable 2FA using a variety of methods, such as SMS codes, app-based authentication, or hardware tokens.

Session management: The system should allow users to see all active sessions and to sign out of all sessions at once. Users should also be automatically logged out after a period of inactivity to prevent unauthorized access.

Email notifications: Users should be able to opt-in to receive email notifications when their account is accessed from a new device or location.

Account recovery: In case users forget their password, there should be a secure and reliable way to recover their account. This can be done through email verification, phone number verification, or security questions.

IP blocking: Users should be able to block specific IP addresses or ranges to prevent unauthorized access to their account.

Activity logs: The system should maintain detailed logs of all account activity, such as logins, password changes, and failed login attempts. Users should be able to view their activity logs and report any suspicious activity to the system administrator.

By including these security settings in an account, users can take control of their own security and protect themselves against unauthorized access and account hijacking.
