brochure illustration for a wine festival in Romania

This is on of my entries for a brochure design contest in Romania. The brochure is needed for a wine festival. The overall theme was Romanian folk tales / best wine produced by local wineries. My take with this one was to show the abundance of good wine our Romanian earth has to offer. I also tried to illustrate the presence of wine in all of our folktales - in the form of a sort of leitmotif (the shepherd and his flock being common characters).
