Fluently

As a UI/UX designer for Fluently, my main goal was to create a design that would guide users along the path to speaking fluently in a new language. To achieve this, I used the way as a central metaphor for our design process.

I began by breaking down the user journey into smaller steps, much like the way is divided into different sections. I identified key milestones that users would need to reach in order to become fluent in their target language, such as building vocabulary and mastering grammar.

Next, I created wireframes and prototypes that visually represented this journey as a way. Each milestone was represented by a signpost or marker, and users could see their progress as they moved along the way.

To guide users along this journey, I selected a color scheme that was warm and inviting, using hues of orange and yellow to represent the warmth and energy of the way. I also chose a font that was clean and easy to read, ensuring that users could easily navigate their way through the app.

Throughout the design process, I kept in mind the importance of providing users with a sense of direction and purpose, much like a way provides travelers with a clear path to their destination. By using the way as a central metaphor, I was able to create a design that was intuitive, engaging, and ultimately helped users achieve their language learning goals.
