Pakistan Resolution

The Pakistan Resolution, also known as the Lahore Resolution, was passed on March 23, 1940, calling for the creation of an independent Muslim state comprising the Muslim-majority regions of India, which would be known as Pakistan. It marked a turning point in the history of the Indian subcontinent and led to the creation of Pakistan in 1947. The resolution expressed Muslim aspirations for a separate homeland and highlighted the differences between the Muslim and Hindu communities in India.
