Website for Women Political Leaders
About the project
Challenge
“ WPL strives in all its activities to demonstrate the impact of more women in political leadership, for the global better. To accelerate, women need three things: communication, connection, community” is how WPL describe themselves.Our aim was to design and develop a website that would reflect values of the WPL organisation and help promote their message across the globe. We had to turn heaps of text and images into an engaging experience for people who would like to participate in activities of the platform.
Result
We put content first and made an emphasis on legibility. Stark and minimal design with prominent headlines and big images accomplish the goal of being both serious and engaging at the same time.
Sitemap
Before desiging any layouts, we defined the informational architecture with the stakeholders to make sure that we provide a logical and cohesive experience for all readers and participants.
Fonts and colors
Wireframes
After creating and approving the sitemap, we created mid-fidelity wireframes to outline the content placement and visual style. We designed a total of 20 pages with varying layouts.
Homepage
Homepage is where the majority of the visitors land first. With prominent photos and clear visual hierarchy we made sure that people can always get the information they need.

We also adapted desktop screens for mobile devices to make sure that the website is accessible from all platforms.
