PROPAGANDA Comic Initialization

One of my prospective projects is based around the ESP craze of the 70's of 80's, a real period of time where not just the public, but the U.S. and U.S.S.R. governments became enamored by the paranormal, especially in the case of psychics. Propaganda as a series would be set in an alternate history where such phenomena proved to be real. It would be a political noir dealing with trained psychic spies working under various international powers clashing with each other during this new height of the Cold War.

In particular, the series follows Kira Nikolaev, a telepathic specialist trained under the Soviet Union's Paranormal Defense Initiative, or P.O.I.. Kira defected from the U.S.S.R. in 1972 when she was 26 years old. The series chronicles her globe-trotting exploits as she attempts to escape from the Soviet Union and hinder their plans of world domination.

I have not produced any of the comic itself, unfortunately, and I believe it behooves me to go over these designs once again and redo them. This is not a priority series for me, so I am afraid it may be a while before I manage to get product out since I am currently working alone.
