🧩 My Part in Netic (Skippable)

At some point in my life, I was doing running professionally and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, all good things must end (JUST KIDDING!), I’ve received a bad knee injury and had to quit. I was absolutely devastated and started spending all my time designing (NOT KIDDING).

Years later, in 2022, Netic and I found each other and I have joined a small but mighty team as a Lead Product Designer, and overall as the first Product Person hire (not including a CTO and a tech team ofc). I felt very excited to be part of the company that helped runners to get back on track and achieve their goals, especially after I had experienced “being injured” on my own.

I am going to skip the details on how I started organizing product vision/branding/ user personas workshops or educating my team on the importance of investing into research. Design system was also a lot of fun because it was non-existent at some point. I closely collaborated with the CX team, CTO and CEO to work on a roadmap, identify feature improvements, competition differentiators, product releases and so on.

A glimpse of Netic branding

Netic was a lot of fun and learning. I loved working in a fast-paced environment, wearing many hats. I had a chance to get more into analytical tools like mixpanel and smartlook, track metrics, and make more strategic product decisions based on actual data (YES, PRODUCT PEOPLE LOVE DATA). I loved the level of transparency and involvement the team had, we would often brainstorm the company’s vision or discuss our marketing and sales strategies. Everyone had a chance to learn and share their thoughts.

“In union there is strength.”

I had a chance to run a marathon with Netic team.
