Canvas Art Print for Mona Shop

While Mona Art Design offers illustrations printed on paper and canvas there is quite the difference beetwen the two. Not only do they differ in appearance, due to light acting differently on each surface, the biggest difference is in durability.

Illustrations printed on canvas are more durable.

Canvas paper is more forgiving when it comes to bending due to its structure and how it’s made. It has almost fabric like structure and canvas texture whose characteristic is the slight protrusion of the fibres that make up the canvas. Therefore bended canvas prints don’t need additional weighdown before framing.

Canvas absorbes the ink in a different way than paper. Colours printed on paper are usualy more shiny, while on canvas they appear more imprinted and matte.
