Dribbble Redesign - Designer desk

Let me tell you a little bit about the introduction design part of the Dribbble Redesign!

My concept was to create a environmental design in the style of a designer's creative work place/desk. The wooden background was originally by far too small in order to cover the whole layout. Therefore, the background was extended, merged together with joints and new custom wood grains to create natural transitions and a great foundation was created. Each and every desk object was isolated from its original background and positioned to create an evocative combination together. The biggest challenge here was to create realistic and logical shadows, based on both lighting and object shape. I'm really satisfied with the final result.
