Problem:

There is a need for mutual aid and support for people with blood diseases and to increase the community of blood donors to assist the Tunisian association of bone marrow transplants and its beneficiaries.

Users and audience:

The Tnajjem application is intended for people with blood diseases, their families and friends, citizens who wish to help and donate blood, and anyone interested in learning about blood diseases and bone marrow transplants.

atGmo managers are responsible for managing the application's content and coordinating with volunteers.

Goals:

  • Increase the community of blood donors and make them more loyal and involved in helping the association and its beneficiaries

  • Provide a platform for patients, their families and friends, as well as anyone interested in learning about blood diseases and bone marrow transplants

  • Allow any citizen to register as a potential blood and platelet donor, to be contacted in case of need

  • Allow people to sponsor a patient and provide various forms of support, including care, assistance, financial and material help, school support or job searching

  • Keep users informed about the activities of the association and any new requests for help

  • Provide simple and accessible information about blood diseases, treatment options, and bone marrow transplantation

Solution:

The solution to address the need for mutual aid and support for people with blood diseases, as well as the need to increase the community of blood donors, is the creation of the Tnajjem mobile application. This application serves as a platform that connects patients, their families and friends, and citizens who wish to help and donate blood, and provides them with various features such as the ability to register as potential donors, sponsor patients, provide various forms of support, and access to information about blood diseases and bone marrow transplantation. Additionally, the app provides an efficient back-office system that allows atGmo managers to manage the content of the application and coordinate with volunteers. The creation of this mobile app helps in achieving the project's objectives by providing a user-friendly and accessible platform that empowers people with blood diseases and those willing to help them.
