Divine Woodpecker

Another woodpecker illustration in this month's "Angels on Earth" magazine. I tired to do something different with this by using clouds from Tibetan art & a variety of different halos including Byzantine & images of the Lady Of Guadalupe visions. Yes, maybe it was a bit sacrilege, but I thought they all worked together nicely. Sadly this image was demoted to the back cover. Maybe a bit too edgy?
