I was always interested in start-ups and the positive changes they may have in our lives. Being always eager to make an impact on peoples' lives, a year ago I founded my own company called SnackMe - the fast snacks delivery service in Den Bosch. Being able to observe the operations and business model used at Thuisbezorgd, I added creativity to the service and exceeded the experiences of my customers. The initial idea was to create a project that will grow into a startup like Gorillas, or Getir which already were present in the German market.
‘SnackMe’ had great potential. Being a project of one man, SnackMe generated up to 40 orders per week. This result became possible solely due to the unique customer service method that I had developed. There were clients who ordered snacks more than 50 times!
Unfortunetely SnackMe didn't make me a successful businessman and today I still do not drive a porshe, but as my first start-up, 'SnackMe' gave me a lot of experience and thought me one of the most valuable lessons I learned in my life: if your business doesn't grow, but you keep giving to this all your time and efforts, stop it or change the way you run your company. :)
