I think, therefore I am - Booklet

The given theme is mind and body and my concept is Solipsism. Solipsism is the view or theory that the self is all that can be known to exist. Regarding the visual concept, I used surrealism to portray that the scenery is a dream world and there is one consistent character throughout the booklet which is “the self”. The title: I think therefore I am is a quote written by René Descartes who came up with the concept of Solipsism. I chose this because the quote relates to the theme. I think (mind), therefore I am (body). I also chose this concept because it is quite challenging with regards to image generation. With a lot of visual research and drafts, I could successfully apply my concept to the visual execution to each article.
