Roll-A-Rama at the TWA Hotel

Created a vintage-y ad for the Roll-a-Rama roller skating rink at the TWA Hotel in NYC, one of my favorite places in the city.

Everything created in Photoshop and animated with After Effects. Music made in Ableton Live.

The hotel is a design nerd's dream, located inside the former TWA Terminal at JFK Airport, which was designed by Eero Saarinen. The terminal and hotel are frozen in 1963, so I took inspiration from 1960s book covers, Saul Bass, mid-century modern design, and the design of the hotel itself.

The music is a dance remix of the Beach Boys' "Pet Sounds" I created, customized to the animation.
