Portrait in Carnations & Coffee Beans

2-color portrait & screen print in celebration of Lemonjello's 20th birthday!

LJ's is small town Holland's preeminent coffee shop, so the owner - as a consequence - is a bit of a local mascot. I wanted to try and capture a sense of the gravity in 20 years of business & space making for the thousands and thousands of folks who've visited the shop.

This mean mug of a portrait is what I settled on, hopefully pointing to the seriousness of their craft and celebrating the man who has made it possible!
