toggled navigation - based on the bootstrap modal

I've used this solution because I wanted to use a nav toggle on all screens - not just for mobile and tablet. The bootstrap modal plugin helped with quite a bit of logic and useful behavior. The resulting navigation view is also very easily extendable and tweak-able.
