Freddie’s is an independent food business pairing pizza and cocktails at the biggest parties, festivals and events across the UK.  Are you often hungry but don’t know what to order? With a menu based on our flavor profiles and on-site music, Freddie’s offers a simplified ordering system, serving customers New York Style pizza and refreshments that cater to every type of party goer. 

The festival food business is a big one with hundreds of options available at every event, and pizza? We can only guess how many competitors there will be. Building a brand identity with a big personality and inviting persona was crucial.

Supporting logotype, found on digital assets and merch, empowers the brand through the use of the typical typographic styles of the New York underground.

Colour palette has been selected to represent the flavour profiles that sit at the heart of the Freddie's menu & ordering system.

Freddie's specialises in fresh, New York style Pizza - so what better way to show their prowess than through paying homage to the music and urban culture of the city, paired with the classic ‘DGAF’ attitude of the New Yorker? Our mascot disc-like ident takes inspiration from NY music label logos from the 70’s. Labels that became some of the most culture influencing in modern music.

Purposefully spun into a circular shape, it’s representative of vinyl discs - paying homage to the Hip-Hop disc jockeys of the 70’s, an art form that to this day influences movers, shakers and beat makers at events and parties across the globe.

The language used across the brand references the bold character of the New Yorker. It plays with words and phrases that tie back to those used in popular music culture, and double as references to the pizza making process.
