Neighbor

Neighbor: my latest typeface designed & released via my foundry PSTL

2 families: Neighbor + Neighbor Stencil each available in 9 weights

+ matching italics. 36 fonts total.

Got You Covered

Neighbor has a strong weight spectrum from Thin to Black and a glyph set that covers just under 200 Latin based languages.

Default-ernate

15 uppercase and 12 lowercase characters have alternate forms. Half of those

include 2 or more replacements to choose from. This intentional variety is a built in attribute that makes Neighbor a considerate typeface when creating logotypes or brand identity systems. See More Here

...But first Italics

The heart of the design was the idea of creating a 'true' italic for a geo-sans. Since most san serif designs opt to include corrected obliques or slanted roman forms, there was an opportunity for Neighbor to create something that stands out by infusing a little bit movement and cursive influence. A complete redraw of the lowercase and the addition of a set of subtle Swash Caps created a nice balance. The italics feel at home emphasizing text in a paragraph or used large for display purposes.

Neighbor Stencil was created to expand the design further and emphasize

the industrial side of the family.
