Album Cover Redesign | Rebound

My favorite album of 2022 is 96Neko(Kuroneko) Crimson Stain

My favorite song on the album is Piero which means clown.

96Neko is from Osaka Japan. Her current album cover is a Ombre deep crimson color with a city and a black cat slapped on the middle.

I decided to take those elements into consideration when redesigning the album cover. I photoshopped a black cat to have crimson eyes and then added a soft black gradient to fade it out a bit without loosing the contrast.

The font, I wanted it to be tall and close lettering with a little weight.

For the city, I decided instead of adding random buildings, I would use Osaka and fade into the background with high transparency.
