Logo and Identity for Borsch

Recently I had a pleasure to take part in a creative challenge started by Creative and Tech Online Institute Projector.

This concept of the logo for Ukrainian core dish was a result of my reserch in Ukrainian national art and old traditions of patters. Circles on vyshyvankas echoes circles of beetroots that echoes plates with borsch. Archaic motives are seen in modern habits of nowadays ukraininans. The pattern of the circle of life can be seen in an ordinary plate, and now borsch becomes a magical dish, thanks to which you can communicate with your ancestors...
