Stag over the valley

I love mountains.

This illustration was inspired by my trip to Bieszczady region in southern Poland, near the border with Ukraine.

For over a week I was traveling with my sister, discovering the wonders of nature, beautiful landscape and man gems of local culture.

The idea to go there came up after watching one of the episode narrated by a famous Polish gastronomy journalist, Robert Makłowicz. His detailed stories about the region and its many wonders, inspired us to go and see them for ourselves.

Bieszczady are also known as the "Polish Alaska" (fun fact).
