Clients Feedback

Design feedback could be helpful or hurtful.

In this case study, let me share with you various design feedback that designers usually receive, from disappointed clients to satisfied clients.

Based on my experience, "Not my cup of tea" is the worst. It means you should start over the design from scratch.

"Not bad" means the clients don't really like your design, and you have a looong way to go (prepare for a lot of revisions later on).

"Looks good" is okay. You might need 3-4 further revisions.

"Looks great" is a good start. You might need 2-3 further revisions.

"Love it" is quite rare. You might only need 1-2 minor revisions before finalizing the design.

"You nailed it" is the best one, congrats! You don't need to revise anything. The clients will approve your design as is and are ready to pay your invoice. :D

So tell me, have you ever received feedback like this? Leave a comment if you have other words from clients based on your experience as a graphic designer!
