To create a fun quirky "solution" in a beaker that stared back at the scientist.
A lively "solution" with bubbles was chosen to give life to the "solution" which sets the scene for the face to emerge, and creates anticipation.
To create the atmosphere for the opening lab scene the sound of crickets fade in to give the late-at-night feel.
