The Odd Couple - Commissioned by Jessica Chanese

This piece was commissioned by author Jessica Chanese to accompany and upcoming short story of hers. Her initial request for this piece was “Zeus with an average looking woman,” and that the couple could be standing “next to or in an elevator.” As for the king of the gods himself, Jess told me he could either be dressed in a traditional Greek toga, or, “like he is going on vacation.” Needless to say, these instructions were a little… strange. Still, I think that only made the challenge, and the final product, that much more enjoyable.
