Personal Calendar

Calendar? That's what we use everyday. How would it look like for you, for me? That's a question I have been pondering upon recently.

Inspired by these two works

That's what I have come up with for top-level view of the calendar. The things I would like to see in my personal calendar is:
1. Easily switch between day/week/month/year
2. Highlighting holidays
3. Detail view if necessary (sliding functionality)
4. Personalization (in this case the picture)

It would be nice to hear your opinions. It would be even nicer if one walks on this direction and develops the concept further.
