NYC Subway Token

Vector drawing of a 1970's NYC subway token. Once upon a time, if you didn’t want to risk hopping the turnstile, you used one of these NYC Subway Tokens to ride the 4 train to the Bronx to watch the Yankees play. Long gone now, but for some the memories and nostalgia are strong. This style with the cutout Y was used until 1980. You could travel from Far Rockaway, Queens to Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx for 50 cents.

Available on apparel here.
