We were currently redesigning our webpage for ThreeDee, and we needed to create an animation that would express what we were doing.

We are exchanging a lot of coffee for 3D models, and here is how ☝

Let's dive into behind the scenes.

Before we start modeling and 3D animation, we jump on top of the sketchbook.

After several complex iterations, we landed on this concept 👇

As you can see, it was pretty straightforward to sketch something like that. But it was enough for us to start with the animation.

Why spend more time on something which is not needed?

Modeling part

The next step was to model 3D models based on the sketch. Btw, the 3D characters are from ILLUSTRATIONZ 3D pack.

The last step was to create the animation. After several iterations, we landed on this 👇
