Mascara project for Enchant
The challenge was to develop a completely new cosmetics line. At the beginning, it was about finding a name and a suitable font.
Font I chose the Bauhaus font because it conveys the necessary elegance. Also, the tracking and kerning can be extended to the extreme without the font losing legibility. In addition, the font is very feminine with the absolute curves.
Logo development I wanted a word-picture mark, but with enough conciseness even without text. Many beauty products offer little space for a large or complex logo. The symmetry in Enchant's Bauhaus E is perfect for creating this.
To enhance the enchantment, I came up with the idea of the crown of a sun goddess or other mythical creature. That's why I decided to emboss the logo in gold foil, which goes very well with beauty products and gives the necessary elegance.
