Solo Skateboard Magazine

Dylan Rieder is a professional skateboarder from Westminster, California. At age 28, Rieder died from complications after beating leukemia. He was known for his effortless skate-style, and nonconformity when it came to fashion & aesthetics. For the magazine layout & concept, I wanted to keep within a monochromatic colour scheme and use Courier as the body copy typeface. The colours, typography and photography exude who Dylan was, and still is, as an icon in skateboarding.
