Family Support Resources Editorial Spread Illustration

This editorial illustration was created for Momentum. The researchers were working to create “user-friendly resources for parents struggling to support their children through a wide range of common childhood illnesses and diagnoses.” Three of the resources highlighted in the article were:

• Videos explaining how to treat common childhood ailments.

• Conversation cards for improved health and weight.

• Workbooks to support families dealing with celiac disease.

Ideas from these three articles were made visual to accompany this featured section of Momentum. The illustrations were rendered in an infographic style to represent resources created by pediatric researchers at University of Alberta.
