Logo concept for a hip-hop lover’s blog and record label.

The client envisioned a classic, yet edgy design, that clearly communicates the brand’s character.

I came up with a bold masculine logo that features a record and sword, accompanied by a legible blackletter font.

The daring gothic style script was chosen because it was a typographical trend in the golden age of hip hop.
