Hat Study

drawing/study from last night. I really love imperfect drawings. In my opinion it balances out the cleanliness of digital work and gives it a more natural look. Some process for anyone interested...

Some stupid ground rules. No erasing, no undoing. If I want to "erase" I just alternate between a black pencil and a white one. At the end I make a decision to clean things up but I just draw in white over it. Last is the pastel brush with a little grey. No blending needed in most cases. I may continue on painting this one. Like I said on my last few. Nothing fancy, just trying to decompress.... Perfection is not the goal (this time). Just trying to capture the spirit of the thing. I will never make a perfect drawing and I am ok with that:) If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask!
