Masjid Raya Al-Mashun (Al-Mashun Grand Mosque)

Medan Grand Mosque or Al-Mashun Grand Mosque is a mosque located in Medan City, Indonesia. This mosque was built in 1906 and completed in 1909. At the beginning of its establishment, this mosque was integrated with the palace complex. The architectural style is typical of the Middle East, India and Spain. This mosque is octagonal in shape and has wings on the south, east, north, and west. The Medan Grand Mosque is a witness to the history of the Deli Malay civilization, which is closely related to the Deli Sultanate.
