The Badger Den is a small-batch Mead brewing company. They focused on the production honey wine. Locally sourced Virginia honey is carefully chosen for each batch. What truly sets they apart from all major honey brands is that the whole Mead making process, from the first mix of honey and water to bottleing, is all done by hand.

Mead can be bought in Virginia DC at farmers markers, some craft brew stores. It will be the yuppies, hipsters and wine moms who will love it most, looking for something artisanal and new to try.

The lables of Mead must look like the Badger Den is meant to be humble, comforting and available to those who stick to old traditions but like trying something new. ​​​​​​
