Shocked Horse

Been doing some thinking and soul searching in regards to life and career lately, and needed an afternoon to work on a personal piece.

More and more I find myself wanting to stick to flat colour and make things more graphic, instead of going nuts with textures. I guess I want to 'restrain' myself a bit and try and use texture as a little sprinkling on top of a piece, rather than smearing texture all over.

There's also the fact that I simply don't enjoy spending a long time on a single thing. So, I'm trying to simplify my work and process further, and make it more enjoyable for myself.
