Case Study: Note-taking application

Memo, the high-fidelity screens for a note-taking application under the concept motto “less but better” with the design principle of functionalism.

Challenge

The urgent request and limited completion time. The client has not worked with UI designer before, so they haven’t had any of the information regarding UX deliverables.

With little information available, my key to overcome this challenge was to research into the same type of application market, spotted the differences and collected useful data. I then assessed and categorised into three key essential features, the usability, the layout and the navigation structure to kick off my design process.
