Korean Speaking Practice App UI Design

The idea for this design was from a few Korean language accounts on Instagram that create dialogues and reading practices contents.

Those posts usually have some aspects in common which are audio in a video format with both normal and slower speed. While some of them choose to provide the translation as they demonstrate the dialogue or paragraph in the video, some provide the translation as the last media (photo) attached in their post. Most of them will also include the details of the grammar or vocabulary part as the caption of the post.

Therefore, this design allows users to tap on each of the text to view the translation and to tap on the speaker icon to listen to the pronunciation of that text. Users can also refer to the vocabulary part easily after going through the dialogue or paragraph.
