Golden Retriever Illustration

The Golden Retriever is my favourite dog breed. I have one too, his name is James. He has his own instagram account, so if you are a goldie fan let your heart melt with James. He is super cute. (jamesthebutlerpuppy)

This particular Golden is a Flat Coated Golden Retriever from South Africa. He is a champion and I was commitioned to illustrate him. A portrait is all in the eyes. So that is where I start. If I get that right, I carry on. As I work with pen you can't exactly erase anything. I love doing portraits. Let me know if your precious pet needs an illustration.
