Source : Big Think Edge Similar to attaching to a variety of things in our reality, people can also get attached to a certain brand. One day they get to know it, other day they build a trust between themselves and a brand and at the end they guard it and stand up for it in every occasion.

This stands for users, but also for owners of that brand, and the reason for that is because we tend to percieve things which are important for us or the things that we find appealing as a part of our identity.
